I've asked one of our engineers to look at this. Subject: RE: Tandberg PrecisionHD 1080p Camera Control Our ultimate goal is to integrate this into a system with a crestron joystick controller, but the key would be to use varying speed controls. Can you please help us with this, as we have set up a ticket for this already and have not gotten any answers. The camera software version is the latest (4.0 FINAL). The identical command on a sony EVI-HD1 camera which is hooked up next to the tandberg on our testbed and has an almost identical protocol manual, produces the correct results. The command in the protocol manual (December 2008, page 16) states the commands PT_Up, PT_Down, PT_Left, and PT_Right allow for 16 steps of pan and tilt speeds, but every change of speed we send produces the exact same speed. We are able to communicate with the camera (movements, queries, etc), but we are not noticing any speed changes with pan and tilt. We are having an issue with controlling a tandberg precision HD1080p camera from a crestron controller directly via rs232.
